When a Unit has been superseded before it is completed by the Student, the RTO should result it as "61 - Superseded subject". That is if the Student has started training in the unit. Otherwise (the Student has not commenced training yet) the result should be "Never started - No participation".

There are situations where only a particular Unit in a short course becomes superseded affecting current Students. In these cases we recommend the following action:

Transfer the Students to the new Course ensuring the last step of the transfer is a "Duplicate" as opposed to a "Transfer" as per image below:
