If your RTO is collecting Learner Feedback from its students, that feedback can be entered by the student through our PowerPro Web Plugin (saving the RTO valuable data entry time!) this feedback is where PowerPro gets the data for the report, more info here

The Web Plugin is required for PowerPro to be able to generate data for this report, if you don't have this plugin the data will need to be manually generated - see the bottom of the page for more information

At any point, the Learner Feedback data can be generated into a report by navigating to the Reports menu, selecting Compliance Reports and under the ASQA heading, you will find the Quality Indicator Data (Registering Body Report) as per below screenshot

This report compiles Student and Employer feedback for training completed within a specific calendar year
The report can be submitted directly alongside your submission to ASQA, or can be used to generate the data for filling out ASQA's template
This report's data can also be used for state-specific reporting requirements (TAC)

Important note: The Registering Body report is due at the end of June of the following calendar year

Reporting

ASQA

When reporting to ASQA you can report either via their Quality Indicator webform or collating your responses and sending via email using their template
Information about ASQA reporting requirements can be found here

TAC

When reporting to TAC you can report either via entering the results using their SMART software, or submitting a Summary Report via email (for which TAC has no prescribed template)

According to TAC for the summary report they require the following information:
  • the total number of each questionnaire distributed
  • the total number of each survey received back
  • how the learner engagement data has been used to continuously improve the RTO's services
  • how the employer satisfaction data has been used to continuously improve the RTO's services (if applicable)

The data for the first two items can be generated by the QI report (for data that has been loaded into PowerPro), and you can add on the number of paper versions you have if they have not been entered into PowerPro

Information about TAC reporting requirements can be found here

Without having access to the Web Plugin

You will have to manually count the number of responses you have received as well as working out the number of questionnaires sent out
A way to work out how many questionnaires you have sent (assuming every completed student was sent a copy) is using the Course Completed Within Dates Report which can be found in PowerPro under Reports > Client Reports > Course Completed within dates
Once run, the last page contains an overall total or alternatively you can request a Custom Report

You can use the 'C.I. Register' tool to get your continuous improvement data
